Schedule an Appointment for Divorce Mediation
If you are interested in meeting Karen Russell, our mediation attorney, to learn more about divorce mediation, how she works, and her style and philosophy, schedule an appointment for you and your partner or spouse.
When you visit our offices, Karen will discuss your situation, ask and answer questions, and help you decide whether you are comfortable with our firm and if the mediation process is right for you.
Prior to the appointment, you’ll be able to download our introductory materials including our Mediation Retainer Agreement, a Consent to Mediate form, and a list of consulting attorneys.
We also provide estate mediation services and mediation for family-owned businesses.
Meet and Greet Appointments (30-45 minutes)
The goal of the Meet and Greet appointment is for you and your partner or spouse to meet Karen, discuss your situation, ask and answer questions, and together determine if the mediation process with our firm is the right fit.
We charge a reduced rate for a “Meet and Greet” appointment. If you hire Russell Mediations, this charge is credited back on your first bill.
Long Appointment (2 hours)
Like the Meet and Greet appointment, the initial goal of the Long Appointment is to determine if the mediation process with our firm is the right fit. If either of us decides it’s not a good fit, or you’re not sure if you want to move forward right away, we’ll end the session after the initial 30-45 minutes and collect the $190.00.
If we both decide it is a good fit, we will ask you to sign the appropriate paperwork, pay our retainer (or discuss alternate payment plans), and begin the mediation process. Your retainer fees are placed in a client trust account that we bill against as we perform work on your behalf.
